The standard item limits under Policy Section 11.1 b] will not apply to these specified items. Your nominated limit for 'Specified Luggage and Personal Effects Cover' will be shown on your Certificate of Insurance. Receipts and/or valuations must be provided in the event of a claim.

Removal of Standard Excess - You can remove the standard $150 Excess on Plans A, C, D, E, F & G by paying an additional premium. The Removal of Standard Excess Option is not available under Plan A Plus which has a nonremovable excess of $100.

Travel on Cruise Vessels - No cover is provided under any of the available plans for travel on a cruise vessel (refer to General Exclusion 36 on page 54 of the PDS).  Cover can be provided if you pay an additional premium to remove General Exclusion 36.

Please note as well as needing to pay an additional premium to remove General Exclusion 36, travellers on domestic cruise vessels in Australian waters must purchase Plans A Plus, A or C (selecting Geographical Region 1), or Plans D or E (fixed at Geographical Region 3), to ensure cover is available for emergency medical assistance and emergency medical and hospital expenses.

If you do not purchase Plans A Plus, A, C, D or E (and pay the additional Premium to remove General Exclusion 38), you will not have cover for medical transfer or evacuation (e. g. by helicopter) if you need to be transported to the nearest hospital for emergency medical treatment.
