This Backpacker Travel Insurance policy is ideal for the backpacker or traveller who wants reasonable levels of cover, including cover for their baggage should it get lost or stolen. This policy is provided at extremely competitive rates for travellers or backpackers under the age of 40 travelling abroad and is most popular with young travellers going overseas on a working holiday.

This fantastically priced Travel Insurance product referred to herein is underwritten by American Home Assurance Company trading as AIG Australia and provides peace of mind for the budget traveller, as with all our policies, you are automatically covered for hazardous activities, such as bungee jumping, paragliding and white water rafting (grades 1-4), not often available with this type backpacker insurance for no additional premium.

You could travel the entire world (excluding USA/Canada & Japan) for a full 12 months, with good cover for as little as $527.55.
